(Please include in your email or Fax, a notation regarding the number of entrances to your project so we can determine the appropriate number of signs to prepare for your project)
Signs
(Per CVC22658(1) There is displayed, in plain view at all entrances to the property, a sign not less than 17 inches by 22 inches in size, with lettering not less than one inch in height, prohibiting public parking and indicating that vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense, and containing the telephone number of the local traffic law enforcement agency and the name and telephone number of each towing company that is a party to a written general towing authorization agreement with the owner or person in lawful possession of the property. The sign may also indicate that a citation may also be issued for the violation.
Each sign must be purchased by us. Each sign is $TBD; we do not install the signs. It is your responsibility to ensure all signs purchased from us are maintained and remain in good / visible condition. If a sign is stolen, bent, or damaged to the extent it is no longer legible you must inform us immediately to purchase a replacement sign, to stay compliant with CA CVC22658. Your account will be activated 24hrs AFTER the signed agreement is received and the signs have been installed.
Persons Authorized
In accordance with 22658 the option for allowing a “tenant” to be authorized as an approved person(s) will be found on our application however, we will NOT tow under this circumstance. This field must be limited to owner(s), security, on site manager, association member etc.
To facilitate a tow, you must:
•Photograph the vehicle, ideally all four corners including any existing damage and a clear photo showing the violation.
(Keep the photos for your records)
•Complete the vehicle removal form / “Appendix 1” form in its entirety
•Call our office (415.883.6124) and request the tow
•You must remain on location until the driver has acquired the removal form and has successfully removed the vehicle from the property
Once the vehicle has been successfully removed from the property our staff will notify the local law enforcement agency that the vehicle was towed. Our team will receive a log number from their dispatch for our documentation.
